Honeymoon Cottages

Dear Mom and Dad,

Thank you for the wonderful wedding! I am writing from our Honeymoon Cottage at Mountain Brook which is near Ashville, NC, in the Great Smokies. We checked in yesterday afternoon and were greeted by the hospitable owners and staff. My thoughtful groom had reserved a "Romancer" cottage so we have a king bed and our own Jacuzzi and Sauna.

This morning we took a walk on the nature trail and caught some mountain rainbow trout for a candlelit dinner in our honeymoon cottage tonight.

This will probably be the only letter I send because there are so many things to do and see; just not enough time. We're already planning to come back for our First Anniversary Celebration! While we're here, we're going to go white water rafting, visit the Smoky Mountain National Park, the Cherokee Indian Reservation - we've heard the museum there is state-of-the-art - Blue Ridge Parkway and Biltmore Estate. There are quaint shops and stores everywhere and we'll use some of our wedding gift money to purchase things that will always remind us of our Great Smoky Mountain Honeymoon!

PS Thanks, too, for the Celebration Amenity and Pink Pamper Basket that you had waiting in our honeymoon cottage. How did you remember that pink is my favorite color? You have thought of everything!

PSS You should celebrate your next anniversary or even have a second honeymoon here in a special Honeymoon Cottage. And since there are no phones or tv's to bother you, I'll know you'll love the peacefulness of the mountains. What a wonderful way to celebrate!
