Mountain Brook Cottages is located in the Great Smoky Mountains in Western North Carolina. (Our G.P.S. N 35o 16.091° W 083o 18.209°) Our central location provides guests easy access with thousands of activities within an hours drive. Although we're nestled in between the smaller mountain towns of Sylva, Dillsboro, and Franklin, North Carolina, the closest larger city is Asheville, North Carolina, just 55 minutes down a 4-lane interstate, it's an easy drive. If you're planning on enjoying the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, hiking, white water rafting, or any number of activities for families, groups or couples, our location is more appropriate than staying in Asheville itself. You may even enjoy our rustic cottages, relaxing mountain brook, and the simple peace of getting away from it all, over the rush and traffic in Asheville.
