Choose one of over a dozen historic cottages - you'll find each one has it's own special charm and is completely equipped for homemaking so all you'll need is your toothbrush. While our rates are competitive to a motel room, for the value of Fireplace Cottages and Cabins, you’ll receive a real bargain!

A deposit will be requested to reserve your accommodation which will be confirmed once it is received. This confirmation obligates both Mountain Brook and guests for the entire length of stay reserved.

Payment is due at check-in in either CASH or TRAVELERS CHECKS - neither personal checks NOR credit cards can be accepted.

Some of our fireplace cottages and cabins have hide-a-beds. If you will be having more than the indicated number of guests in your cottage, please let us know in advance and when we email you, we'll let you know if there is an additional charge.

Stay six nights or more and you may deduct 10% from your visit.
Add 10% sales and local tax.
Add $5.00 landfill charge

Confirmation: Confirmation of your reservations obligates BOTH Mountain Brook and guests for the entire length of stay.

Cancellation Policy: If we are notified 30 days in advance of arrival, your deposit less 20% (administration fee) will be refunded to you. Cancellations or changes occurring within 30 days will result in forfeiture.

Mountain Brook Cottages is located in the Great Smoky Mountains in Western North Carolina. (Our G.P.S. N 35o 16.091 W 083o 18.209) Our Central location provides guests easy access with thousands of activities within an hours drive. Altough we're nestled in between the smaller mountain homes of Sylva, Dillsboro, and Franklin, North Caralilna, the closest larger city is Asheville, North Carolina, just 55 minutes down a 4-lane interstate, it's an easy drive. If you're planning on enjoying the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, hiking, white water rafting, or any number of activities for families, groups, or couples, our location is more appropriate than staying in Asheville itself. You may even enjoy our rustic cottages, relaxing mountain brook, and the simple peace of mind of getting away from it all, over the rush and traffic of Asheville itself. Please consider staying on Mountain Brook Cottages when planning activities in and around Asheville North Carolina.
