“NO TV'S: Found Mountain Brook while searching for a place to spend a long weekend. Of course, the search was on the internet. The pictures and description don’t truly tell the story. This was a truly and completely perfect vacation – in all sense of the word. No TV – no phone – what more could you ask for? This time away was well worth the 10 hour drive – both ways. From the “isolation” to the friendliness of everyone – staff and other guests – to the beautiful sites and scenery. We took in about ½ of the waterfalls in the area and Bill fell in only once. But we have hundreds of pictures and thousands of memories. Each night we came back to a warm and relaxing whirlpool tub, followed by a leisurely dinner. Many thanks to Michele and Maqelle for making this trip so wonderful. Even more thanks to the McMahon family for still keeping the place beautiful. We will return! ”

“CELEBRATION AMENITY: This is my husbands and mine 2nd time here. Our first was 5 years ago and it was our honeymoon. Well 5 years later, how could I ask for anything more than my wonderful husband, him surprising me once we got here with roses, champagne, strawberry and cheese plate and This Truly Awesome Place. We love it here and always will. If this isn’t romantic, I don’t know what is! ”
